Engineering
ECP has extensive experience in helping customers transform designs into products. First and foremost, we take the time to understand your product’s technical, aesthetic, cost and timing needs. Using this knowledge, we apply industry best practices to facilitate a successful program launch.
The ECP engineering team applies product design, tooling design and manufacturing process considerations early in the program to keep overall program costs to a minimum. Tools such as mold flow analysis and design for manufacture (DFM) review minimize technical risks while our Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) practices create a standardized roadmap to accomplish your program goals.
ECP’s engineering expertise includes such broad tooling categories as stack tooling, rotary stack tooling, gas-assist molding, structural foam molding, two-shot molding, overmolding, in-mold decorating, and more. Additionally, our post molding engineering expertise includes complex assemblies, paint, sonic welding, vibration welding, hot stamping, and pad printing.
